Stella Innovations two-hour consulting is offered in order to ensure that through collaboration with our customers we can truly meet and exceed their needs and expectations. Consultation can be in person, or by video conference, phone, or email. It is a chance to explore the goals of the customer and provide consulting with regards to overseas culture and nuance so that the translated material will reach its maximum potential.
Marketing and Public Relations materials are not included in our translation services. When our team compares the text with the original, it is possible to identify incorrect, misleading or ineffective translation. If the time required to correct these issues exceeds the complimentary two-hour consultation, an additional charge may be applied. In addition, the final delivery may need to be renegotiated as a result of the time required to make the corrections.
Our project flow is designed to maintain and add exceptional quality with each step, from comparison with the original, the 1st native proofreading, industry specialists’ check for additional quality assurance and up to one hour of free consulting with the client. WHEN WILL YOU RECEIVE YOUR DOCUMENT?

For Japanese to English and English to Japanese

A minimum of 5 working days is required for us to service your order if your order is from Japanese to English or from English to Japanese not exceeding 2,000 words or characters. Stella Innovations strives to meet your requirements so please inform us of your desired deadline when you request an estimate for our services. We will begin working on your document from the following day that we officially receive your order.

Other languages

For an expected deadline for other languages a longer supply time may be required. Please contact us for an estimate.

For General documentation (for reference use)
- Letters and messages – up to 5 working days (approx. 5,000 words or characters)
- Brochures – up to 14 working days (approx. 10,000 words or characters)
- Contracts and manuals – up to 28 working days (approx. 20,000 words or characters)

Express Service – Get your document done faster!

Stella Innovations also offers an express service to meet tight deadlines. In most cases, we are able to complete the document within 3 to 4 working days from the time of order.

Depending on the type and length of the text there will be an additional ‘express’ charge of:

1. Inquiry and Estimation

Please tell us your requirements such as the field, content, deadline, and budget. Stella Innovations will then ensure that we are able to service your request with our commitment to trust and quality. Once we have determined that we can fulfil your order we will send you a free estimate. Feel free to contact us at any time.

2. Orders and preparing data

After you check our estimate and decide to entrust us with your project, you may send us an official order. Work on your project will then commence. Please ensure the data is in an accepted format and if any passwords are necessary. You may also set guidelines for our translators and proofreaders to follow, such as specified words or a particular styling, etc.

Upon completion your document will be sent to you on your requested due date. Please check your document and contact us as soon as possible if you have any questions or requests for minor adjustments. After you have accepted the translated material, we will contact you regarding the payment.

If you have any questions or inquiries regarding your delivered document, we will be happy to respond to your questions or requests. We will endeavor to meet your desired specifications as quickly as possible.

In the case that you have any questions regarding differences in interpretation and the choice of expressions, please feel free to ask us.

INTERPRETATION SERVICE

Consecutive interpretation – Interpreter listens to what the speaker is saying, and conveys the message into another language after the speaker has paused. Typically, the speaker will pause after each complete thought to give the interpreter time to deliver the message.

Simultaneous interpretation – Interpreter stands next to the speaker and listens to what the speaker is saying while concurrently saying it in another language.
